Ume syrup - round two, week 2

The sugar is almost all gone and the syrup is looking good. Not much longer now!

    Different penguins! Look, that one holding the little penguin's hand (err, flipper?) is smiling!

    The ume syrup is still looking ominous. :D

      Do you think the syrup will still be ominous when it is in a penguin glass with soda and ice? ;P
