Were you down below the park along the train line? I love that spot! Hard to get a good shot of the whole thing but gorgeous for the sheer array of colour!!
Yes, I was next to the train line, in seventh heaven. (I happen to love trains, too, so that combination of flowers and trains and urban grit had me dizzy with delight.)
It IS difficult to get decent photos. I ended up doing mostly close-ups.
I adore ajisai. I only have two in my garden because they get so big. But they are utterly lovely. Ours in Hokkaido are just getting their leaves, never mind buds, so I was happy to see your photos!

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of ajisai myself! The one in our mini-garden at home (Wednesday's pic) hasn't bloomed yet, but Tokyo's seem to be starting!
