Tracking Sakura - Final Day

It is with great sadness that I post today's photograph. The single blossom that had been holding on, outlasting the others in a show of independence and will, has fallen.

Late-blooming sakura are still a mass of pink, but The Branch is now almost entirely green (one petal is hanging on but...).

But there are other flowers yet to bloom, right??!?

    1. Sniffle! Sniffle! Until next year!

Yup! It started out as me trying to figure out how to change my comments so that I could reply instead of just posting a new comment but I ended up fiddling around with things in general... I miss the photo heading, but for now I like the new layout (and the prospect of changing the background photo to suit the season!)

  2. Poor Branch. Are there supposed to be cherries later in the summer? I like the new look too! hugs, Cath

    1. I was going to say no to the cherries, but U tells me they do give small very sour cherries that are inedible to humans. Unfortunately yummy cherries (called American cherries here) are very very very expensive. But I just realized we might hit cherry season on our trip to Canada this summer! ;)
