I thought that because it was cold for so long we might get a longer sakura season, but no luck. The park near work was gorgeous as always, and we had a small "support Fukushima and Miyagi" hanami party one evening, but everything was pretty subdued this year.
Achan - yup, cuddles are great! But a queen sized bed where you don't have to cuddle if you don't want to is pretty great too! ;)
Short but sweet! Cherry blossoms are out here too - and magnolias, which I love.
